Navagraha Stotram is a powerful energy work based on yoga that has been used for thousands of years. It uses ancient tantric methods and meditation to channel energy to the body and mind. The tantric energy used in this procedure can heal the body, improve memory, strengthen the muscles, help to achieve inner peace and create a positive outlook and expectation. In this procedure, Navagraha means “one horn”. This magical herbal formula was traditionally used in Ayurveda to cure numerous ailments and is very effective in treating prostrate, bladder, kidney, nervous system and sexual disorders.
Navagraha Stotram consists of 100% natural organic substances. Navagraha Stotram is composed of three major constituents – Guduchi (Tinospora cordifolia), Ashwagandha (Withania somnifera), and Shatavari (Asparagus racemosus). All these ingredients are blended in a base of pure milk. Navagraha Stotram contains three unique and powerful formulations… Navagraha Vamishthadi-Qadha, Navagraha Shashtikshali and Navagraha Samhita. These three formulations are used separately or in combination to bring about maximum benefits.

Navagraha Stotram is one of the most popular and effective herbal formulas of Ayurveda. Navagraha Stotram consists of three unique formulations… Navagraha Vamishthadi-Qadha, Navagraha Shashtikshali and Navagraha Samhita. All these are used separately or in combination to bring about maximum benefits. Navagraha Vamishthadi-Qadha and Navagraha Shashtikshali contain vitamin and mineral combinations to promote good health and well being. Ashwagandha, an adaptogenic herb, is rich in amino acid and carotenoid compounds and thus plays an important role in rejuvenating the skin and nerves. The regular consumption of the blend of these three formulations (Navagraha Stotram, Ashwagandha, and Navagraha Shashtikshali) results in a strong, quick acting, long lasting and permanent magnetic energy which increase overall well being, cellular regeneration and purification.
Navagraha Stotram consists of nine planets and these nine planets are said to be the vehicle of the soul which ultimately moves through the chakras. It is believed that the Navagraha Stotram possesses the power to control the life force which resides in the body. This magnetic energy is what is called the ‘prana’ and it is said that the Navagraha Stotram is able to draw all the evil and bad vices and energy that may have entered the body through the channel of the physical senses. This is said to be the main reason as to why it is so effective in curing diseases. This way, the power of the nine planets is harnessed and the potency is released within the body, thereby creating inner balance and harmony.
The nine planets of the Navagraha Stotram include: Sun, Jain, Buddha, Karma, Shakya, Vayu, Earth, Water and winds. It is interesting to note that all of these are representative of the universal aspects of nature and each is associated with one of the North, South, East or West elements. The combination of all of these elements creates the magnetic energy of the Navagraha Stotram which has the ability to draw all negative vices and energies from the surroundings and sustain them in a subtle form. In this way, all of the organs and glands get rejuvenated and as a result, the immune system is strengthened.
All of the above mentioned are what is referred to as the ‘king of the nine planets’ – the Sun, Jain, Buddha and the other nine planets are all representative of one’s innate energy (a), and therefore they have the ability to transform the entire being into a healthy, well-balanced and happy being. Navagraha Stotram knows to channelize this positive energy and to send it out to people through its various mandalas (channels) where there is a need for healing and purification. As such, Navagraha Stotram is used as a healing technique to treat prostatitis, colitis, irritable bowel syndrome, cystic fibrosis, Lupus, asthma, infertility problems, and several other diseases and disorders. It is also believed that Navagraha Stotram can treat other health-related problems like headaches, ulcers, low energy, diabetes, and even psychological ones like anger and anxiety.
This healing technique is also known as the “Laxmi Vilas” or the “Chandan Vilas” or the “eight nectar chakra”. This is considered as one of the most important yoga sutras that originated from the tantric cult. Navagraha Stotram is a combination of the Agni (or the sun) and the Shiva (or the bull). According to the myth, the Sun God came from the sky in order to make the earth fruitful, while the Bull was the son of the sky and the Earth. Navagraha Stotram thus symbolizes the divine energy generated from the combination of the two main forces that make up the universal nature.
The sutras explain that Navagraha Stotram is composed of sixty-two Guna (energy) channels that run throughout the human body and are located on every major organ of the body. Each chakra is assigned with a specific task such as reducing tension, promoting healthy organs, protecting the body from cold, boosting the immune system, and etc. Therefore, according to the tantric principles, there are specific mantra(s) that correspond with the different functions of the different chakras. The mantras help in invoking the correct and beneficial energy and also in invoking the Guna or the air element, according to the specific needs of the user. Thus, it is possible to bring about the maximum benefits from the breathing exercises through these sutras.
